1. Prepare the computer and software

Use a computer running an earlier version of Windows 10 or Windows 11. Install ShortCamII version 2.2.24 and ensure the device works properly and displays infrared images.

2. Perform the firmware upgrade

Once the device is working normally, open the upgrade tool (TestUpgrade). Double-click estUpgrade_10_19_300, select the file PCB_I_0000_B33_1.X_TO_2.X, and click "Test Upgrade".

3. Verify the upgrade

Reconnect the USB cable and restart ShortCamII. Go to "System Settings" - "About" - "Firmware Version" in the bottom-right corner.

If the version is displayed as B33_1.X_TO_2X, the upgrade is successful.

4. Switch to the Windows 11 computer

After completing the steps above, connect the device to your Windows 11 computer for use.
